we are extremely happy to welcome jerome meyer aka von d in the evergrowing moonshine recordings family. von d, is renowned for his ability to fill dance floors, fuse genres and hold his own in collaborations with some of the biggest names in the underground music. with three albums and multiple eps under his belt for labels such as black acre, boka or argon, he is also recognized for featuring exclusive and unreleased dub or dubstep tunes, alongside his own music. with regular shows in europe, asia, new zealand, australia and five tours in the usa, his world fan base is testament to his skill. von d is on an increasingly prolific trajectory since last year. recent 12’s on scrub a dub and khaliphonic (zamzam), and forthcoming tunes on lion charge and moonshine have signaled his renewed focus on dubwise productions. the french producer is going back to his musical roots. he continues to evolve his style and sound, touring around and setting clubs on fire night after night.

gonzo-gonzos versatility as a performer on the dancefloor is a trait just as easy to recognize here on the offering of his collage ep, a release encasing two original tracks complimented by reworks. collage kicks in with a punchy bassline from the get go, captivating earwaves while setting the tone for a highly dynamic, glittery disco infused piece.

for the mapuches or “people of the earth” the forces of good or “ngnech” - meaning life and construction - opposes the forces of evil or “wekufe”, representing the destruction and death. through their ritual ceremonies, they seek to balance of these two dissimilar energies. the nguillatun, the great ceremony of supplication, is high on all these ceremonies. during the ceremony dances are performed accompanied by various prayers.
this first release, suyai, has 3 tracks from rehue (auca + zedje) emerged from a joint work between madrid and buenos aires. the remix is an incredible work from the french artist, von grall. all the tracks mastered by neel.

ingeborg oehme-tröndle und regisseur heinz dieter köhler bearbeiteten den text zu einer mitreißenden hörspielfassung. die wdr-produktion aus dem jahr 1980 macht mit der musik von enno dugend und den stimmen von martin benrath, horst bollmann, bernhard minetti und vielen anderen die abenteuer in mittelerde zum absoluten hörgenuss.

nach der pianogetriebenen, kaum verhallten, trockenen und schwammfreien platte „melancholie & gesellschaft“ (2008) hat der künstler nun darauf verzichtet, ein jazzalbum, ein ambient-schichtenmodell oder einen anderen extremen selbstversuch zu starten.
„das ende der beschwerde“ ist popmusik mit großem schallraum, teilweise mit tatsächlicher, live-im-studio aufgenommener band, teilweise mit imaginierter gruppe, der man im kopf selbst die köpfe aufsetzen kann. „das ende der beschwerde“ ist eine ende-platte wie „lieder vom ende des kapitalismus“ (2006), es ist eine lieder-platte, weil zwölf lieder drauf sind (so wie auf „vierzehn lieder“ (2001) vierzehn lieder drauf waren), aber vor allem ist es eine problemlöse-platte. pop tut dies, pop tut das, hat man oft genug gehört – aber was pop eben wirklich immer tut, wenn er gut ist: eine utopie aufwerfen. möglichkeiten formulieren, unsere geschichte weiterspinnen.

lars von licht’s -from arrows“ is exactly one of this sort: an almost 15min live jam, both simple and sophisticated. a track for special moments and for special people, perfect for reanimating supérieur. one of the frst persons whom i gave this tune last year s summer was lee burridge, who played it straight away at burning man. admittedly, this release took some time, but we wanted to fnd the right moment and the right remixer. we considered many options but came back to one of our own people in the end. dodi palese who released his connaisseur debut earlier this year, felt like the right person to challenge this track and we were right. he has transformed it into a tribalistic high energy bomb, with an unexpected, big synth theme, blowing you away. yes, we are more than happy about this release and it was well worth the wait.

here comes the second 12“ release by rodden von ast on resopal. his „hucabana haet ep“ is infused with an eclectic variety of genres -- from house to techno, from electro to house and full of a sound that is so powerful and distinctively his own. four fresh and amazing tracks for 2016.

das 1973 von neu! und clustermitgliedern gegründete trio markierte eine wende im krautrock: weg von der fusionitis, weg vom überambitionierten gegniedel, weg von der ironie, die allzu oft nur lausige fähigkeiten kaschierte. harmonia spielte seine impressionistischen skizzen mit minimalistischem gestus. kein text trübte den sound, alles war repetitiv, friedlich atmosphärisch und irgendwie lofi. brian eno hörte sich so tief rein in diese kitschlosen versponnenheiten, dass er den ambient erfinden konnte. heute, nach 31 jahren, klingt das etwas unfertig, vor allem die ein- und ausstiege, doch der naive charme der musik blieb erhalten. das album bildet den auftakt einer reihe von remasterten neuauflagen legendärer brain-platten. darunter auch ii von cluster. hat eno natürlich auch intensiv gehört.
